Faith on GOD

This is the verse that I always come up in mind. Is there anything would set us apart from GOD? Each time when we see tragedy, people would blame on GOD and suspect for HIS mercy. However, we always forget the grace from GOD at all time. Why we only focus on the dark side but not the bright side? While we talk about the death, do we remember those who're still survive?? Do we give thanks for being the one who has the ability to help on those victims? Are we showing our love to people around us when we can or we only miss someone when they leave us and blame on GOD to take him/her away? So why don't we seize the day and love each other as GOD loves us. When we look at CHRIST, we'll see HIS grace in our life.

Romans 8:35-39 (New International Version)
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God's will

When we serve, are we following GOD's will and guidance or it's simply based on our own planning and preferences? Do we serve for our own satisfaction or for the interests of GOD? GOD treasures our heart rather than how much we contribute and give; Services having reason behind are not the true serving and GOD will not be pleased with what we've done. If we only choose for those service that we want or like to serve, that's not following GOD's will but we become the one in charge. To be the humble and obedient servant of GOD, we should seek for HIS will which HE will reveal to us. Next time when u seek for the direction of your service, seek for HIS will first.

Matthew 7:15-23 (NRSV)
[Jesus said,] "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits. "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.'"
